Back To it!

I’m so happy to be back in my little shop after the last year of closing, opening, closing, isolating and working from home!

It wasn’t all bad working from home during the pandemic because although business was quiet, I was able to work to my hearts content on collections of artwork that I have turned into homeware sets that fill my shop with mugs, coasters, tea towels and more!

The grants provided by the government have also helped me invest in new quality equipment for making those items, which means because they are all made in house I can make small batches and personalise these items. The personalisation service is going to help my little business grow in the long term.

So with a bigger range of items to buy with my artwork on as well as my greetings cards, art prints and Pet portraits, the shop has never looked so good!

The Wine Estate

The wine estate has nearly finished their restaurant renovations so teamed up with the views on the balcony bar and the surrounding vineyard they have a lunch experience that’s hard to beat!

I also took the opportunity to visit WILD zoological park this month which is onsite in the craft village! I quite often have a vulture or Macaw sitting on my shop roof after their spectacular free flight bird show Wild Wings.

It was so worth it to see 70+ exotic birds flying around you at once with the vineyard backdrop, they have walk in enclosures for Lemurs, Lorikeets, Macaws and Wallabies so you can get very close to the beautiful animals! Great for picture taking, perfect for art reference photos 😉 Small but mighty its as an enjoyable day out, teamed up with what the craft village and Restaurant have to offer im asking you…. Why haven’t you been!!

Looking forward

Art classes are well on the way to being advertised, aiming to start them in August and run them through until Xmas. Just waiting for the last few Covid restrictions to be lifted and they will be good to go!

So all in all a good Re-Start after the pandemic, lets hope it continues!
