What's the difference between Pastel and Watercolour?
Katharine's pastel portraits capture the finest details, a large, regal portrait that is timeless and a beautiful piece. They take in the region of 20hrs+ to make. This time and dedication is reflected in the quality of the portrait. Pastel portraits are perfect special occasion gifts such as birthdays, weddings, anniversary's or to commemorate a lost loved pet.
Katharine's watercolour portraits have a more painterly look. They are less detailed but still characterful. A smaller size than pastels they take 7hrs+ and are a wonderful keepsake that fits a lower budget. Perfect small gift for family, friends or colleagues.

Framing
We offer professional framing with our portraits to ensure your art work is finished and protected to the highest standard.
So what's included? Here's a breakdown of all the important information you need.
Size: this will depend on your specification which we will discuss prior to starting the portrait.
Medium: I use high quality art materials to ensure your portraits will not fade over time. Please contact me directly for more information.
Completion Date: This will be a date agreed between us before work commences. Please allow at least 6 weeks for completion. For more than one subject allow at least 8 - 10 weeks.
Framing: Professional framing is available if you would like to have your portrait framed then we can discuss this when the portrait is finished and you are happy with the results. Framing will add an additional 2-4 weeks on completion time.
Postage: Postage will be an additional cost, I use 1st class signed for ( £15.00- 20.00 size dependant). Alternatively, there is the option to collect it yourself.
Deposit: Before any work commences I require a 25% deposit. This can be paid via Bank transfer or Paypal.
Full Payment: Full payment will be required once you are happy with the finished product. Delivery or collection will be made upon receipt of full payment.
