A beautiful, affordable way to capture your favourite four-legged friend!
These 7 × 5 inch line and wash pet portraits combine a detailed pen drawing with loose, expressive watercolour. I carefully draw your pet’s features to capture their individual character, then add vibrant washes of colour to bring the portrait to life.
The beauty of this style is in the individuality of the watercolour, the loose brushstrokes, vibrant colour and natural characteristics of the paint are all part of what makes each portrait unique.
Each portrait is created from your photographs, and I will always endeavour to achieve a good likeness. However, please note that this is a loose, more expressive style of portrait, so it won't have the same level of photographic accuracy as my detailed pastel portraits.

How it works
Simply place your order and send your favourite photo of your pet to me at kat@skorkart.co.uk . I'll use this as the reference for your portrait and create your original artwork by hand in my studio.
Please allow up to 3 weeks from purchase for your portrait to be completed and posted.
Christmas orders: If you'd like your portrait posted in time for Christmas, please order by 1st December. Orders placed after this date will be collection only from my studio.

Why stop at the original artwork? You can also have your pet's portrait printed onto a range of gift items, creating a lovely keepsake for yourself or a unique gift for another pet lover.

You can choose to have just your pet's portrait on the item, or add your pet's name to make it even more personal.

Please make sure your reference photograph is clear and shows your pet's features well. The final artwork will reflect the style of the example images, including the natural variations and characteristics of loose watercolour.
